Editing video clips (.mov files)

Went to see Take That last night at the NEC, with the girls (not for my benefit).

Got some clips on my dodgy camera in mov file format. I want to edit them into one long clip, what is the best way to do this? I have got Windows Media player, but they launch in Quicktime Player.

To be honest Take That put on a pretty good show, although loads of disappointed people at the doors who had bought tickets on the internet for collection on the night. Sounds like a very dodgy business.

Any help would be appreciated.
