You want a Mont Blanc or something like that, They can litrally run into hundreds of £ thou.

Try good quality jewlery shops

Hi
If you want a rollerball can i reccomend a Cross.I've got one and the writing quality is excellent. There's a good choice and it was about £40.I use it all the time. They're really good quality.
You can get one from shops like W.H.Smith.

If you cant run to a Mont Blanc, Woolworths have 10 pack of felt tips for 99p. Cover another 9 Birthdays/Christmas as well :D

On a serious note, I'd also recommend Cross, I've used them for many years. They have a lifetime warranty against mechanical defect and refills are readily available. I had a 6 year old one replaced because the clip broke.

www.cross.com will get you to the US site or do a Google search to see the range.

I assume you know what style of pen the recipient prefers Very important if they are a dedicated fountain pen user, pens are a very personal thing particularly fountain pens.

I don't know why but everyone rates Mont Blanc pens. In my experience they are vastly over priced and and over rated. All the people I have met who own a Mont Blanc says they leak, roller balls aswell as fountain pens. A good Cross pen is best for a gift, looks nice and not too dear if your concerned that its only for the out-law.

And if anyone says he's only jealous of people with a Mont Blanc, I'm not, I the oppurtunity of getting one for a gift and turned it turn, as a waste of the other person's money.

All pens leak. But I love my solid silver/gold Mont Blanc pencil (gift from late Dad). Panel for engraving on top makes it v special. Needs hand engraving by a specialist jeweller, though, for the really personal touch. Around £300.

Richard.

Cheers to all of you!

I ordered a Cross Century 18 Karrot gold rollerball which was just over £150!

Thanx again everyone.
