Is your aol broadband modem wireless?, if it's hardwired to your pc then he's not using your connection, if it's wireless then he could be, otherwise it could be your neighbours wireless that he's picking up.

If yours is wireless then you need to set up some security, the guys on here will point you in the right direction.

Yup, you need to know if you are wireless or not before we can help.

If you are, wait till he is doing something important and pull the plug ;) You will know if he is using it then :D

You need to set up a WPA secure connection. This might help.

Securing your Wireless Network

In addition, if you are using a desktop PC you may want to /already have wires running to it. If you are not needing the wireless capability of your speedtouch, then you can disable it entirely. The most secure wireless network is one that does not exist ;)

If you disable it and your visitor cannot connect then you will know he was using yours.

If you are going to use wireless, the type of security that you use on your network is important. This article will help you understand the basiscs: BBC NEWS | Technology | Wi-fi security system is 'broken'
