Attendance: 10 pumps, seven special appliances
Crews have been called to a fire at an oil refinery in Coryton. Reports of an explosion are unconfirmed but ten appliances and seven specials are on the scene.

Fire on ground floor of the Naptha Tower. Flames 100 feet up the column. Major foam attack in progress. Cooling monitors in use to avert potential for explosion.

The borough Emergency Planning Officer has been called to the scene.

Ah Thought Lin covered Sir Fozz with the P/Call to yvette...

All shaken up but ok. I can't get hold of steve at the moment. Not sure whether to cry or throw up as they are saying refinery now and steve covers this part of petro plus!!!!

My dad has just called me and he works at petrol plus and is part of the emergency team - HE CAN OFFICIALLY CONFIRM THAT NO LIVES HAVE BEEN LOST IN THIS INCIDENT SO FAR!

Sorry hun mind all over the place. Its no that strange that I can't get hold of steve as he is not allowed a mobile or anything in there due to sparks!! Still worrying though when this happens and it makes it even harder to get hold of him
