AI Autosport rolling road day

Rite folks finnaly got one sorted jonny and phill From Ai Autosport are finnaly moving in till there new premises near randalstown with there top of the range dastek rollling road. This will be up and running within a month but they want to get settled in their new premises and get the rolling road well run in.so they have give me a date anytime in january february time. I said there would be quite a number of subarus interested so they talked about having it over two days so everyones car gets an equal amount of time on the road and they are not rushing so they can recommend wat you could do till your car till get the best out of it.There is very few people i trust with my car so you are in good hands.
I now need till know who would be interested please put your name down and any comments if you would like till go.

it is not just about big bhp he will let you nohow you car is running and wat you can dotill improve basically a health check as well

petedotuk 27 October 2007 08:20 PM

can defo say that johnny can diagnose probs with ur can better than any1, My car was quitre lumpy on tick over johnny told me it was my neutrul switch, took it 2 donnelly's as it's under warranty they said their hardware cant find a problem so they cant change it.

Johnny changed it & it solved the prob.:thumb:

wont take my car anywhere else

Quote " took it to Donnelly's......" Quote

Nuff said................

The ONLY place I would take mine at present for servicing etc is Eastwoods in Lisburn.....this is only because the car is still under manufacturers warranty.....soon as that goes, AI will be doing ALL the work on my car no matter how minor. I cant believe the way they know stuff about the cars they deal with, and they actually care about the car and how it runs when it leaves em.........AI are the way forward .....

petedotuk 27 October 2007 08:31 PM

@ Brocks

must say I cant wait 2 c what ur car puts out on the RR now I know u have PPP. I spent the same amount of money on mine that the PPP costs but was also able 2 lower it and put the 18"'s on it, so I we b keepin a close eye on your run!!!!:norty:

P.S where did u get ur front splitter? luks sweet as........

brocks 27 October 2007 08:35 PM

I bought the car with PPP fitted second hand mate......I know there is a lot more you can do with the money PPP costs, and even when Bushi from here was talking bout getting it done on his, we tried to talk him out of it.....the only good thing about it is that it retains the Subaru warranty........

Must admit I enjoy the car the way it sits and until the warranty runs out, I'm not gonna do anything much with it other than audio and styling stuff.....rolling road day is just for fun, and to support the site members running the event, as I know it aint gonna be the quickest car there by a long shot..........I wish LOL

petedotuk 27 October 2007 08:40 PM

I know mine isnt oin 2 b the quickest I'm just very curious as I was goin 2 get the PPP 4 warranty reason's then changed my mind.

didnt mean 2 sound like i'm in competiton r anything mate, I'll b goin 4 the craic, meetin new friends chattin about what ppl have done 2 their motors and above all enjoyin the company of fellow scooby owners

ian123 27 October 2007 09:03 PM

12.ian123 going for the craic,ian

fabiostar 27 October 2007 09:27 PM

does any one know what bhp a sti should be puttin out ?
i have heard all sorts from 260bhp-300bhp but mine is runin totaly standard

brocks 28 October 2007 04:17 AM

Standard STI, 02- 06 should be 276bhp, with PPP 305bhp AFAIK, have heard the pre PPP figure quoted as 265bhp in some forums

i still think it would b 2 sore on my wee car. it needs some servicing b4 that sort of carry on:p

petedotuk 28 October 2007 09:21 AM

when I went 2 insure my sti the insurance company asked if it was the 265hp r the 305hp version, so I thought they were 265 standard not 276.
But then again r the figures that manufactuers cum up with not based on their prototypes r something. Every car that rolls of the production line has slighty different readings.

Thats what ive been told anyways:wonder:
