WORLD CUP RUGBY

Weldone Australia to your fooking cheat of a 4TH official. Hope he got his bet on    :brickwall :brickwall

FlightMan 20 October 2007 09:52 PM

Bizarre decision IMHO, but I don't think the result would have been any different.

Would not have changed the outcome though. Unfortunate, but at the end of the day SA played a great game, and deserve the win.

Unfortunatly one of my mates lands in SA in the next few hours. Prepare to be ribbed !

spireite 20 October 2007 10:01 PM

Will's and Harry are up in the crowds, you know its gonna mean SO much more to the English squad if they pay a visit to the dressing rooms afterwards :)

Gordon, go home you mug.... Another opportunity to be seen in public eh.

dpb 20 October 2007 10:03 PM

Totally mate, as world champs we had the opportunity to defend the title to the bitter end.

Well done England. Good game, just not strong enough.

Bravo2zero_sps 20 October 2007 10:05 PM

:lol1: my 10 yr old is even saying how can he be Prime Minister of England, they should be banned from England :thumb:

Luminous 20 October 2007 10:07 PM

Yeah, it was a good game. We had some chances that we did not make count, but then so did they. They deserved to win (did I really just say that?)

stringostar 20 October 2007 10:07 PM

celtic fan in the house :)

+Doc+ 20 October 2007 10:08 PM

Dont watch rugby often but its quite obvious, give penalties away = lose.

Im running for president of the USA in 2016, watch for my name :luxhello:

lol sod it, if a Scot can rule England, I can have a go at the USA :D

Annoys me seeing people like that just getting their face out in public.
2 of the highest royals from the UK were there in their England shirts etc. THATS spirit, they had cause to be there!

Snazy 20 October 2007 10:10 PM

Riots in Paris tonight eh........ Oh no sorry, my bad, thats the pathetic football "fans" aint it.

Bravo2zero_sps 20 October 2007 10:13 PM

You know what, without sounding like a "second place will do" kinda person. Just like England getting to the finals, for Lewis to be racing for the F1 drivers championship on his FIRST year in F1..... win or lose, he has done something amazing.

blockmonke@fsmail.net 20 October 2007 10:19 PM

Lol I really feared that Gordon Brown would be a thorn in the side of the conservatives but he has all the charisma of a dead fish

And by us :D :D

So, we lost....bugger. But we did beat the French in their stadium, while they were the hosts :lol1: That is good enough for me :)

dsmith 20 October 2007 11:10 PM

I can accept losing the final to a bad decision...mostly beacuse of

a) The look on the aussie player's faces when we sent them packing
b) The look on the kiwi player's faces when france sent them home
c) The look on the French Player's face when we beat them on home soil
d) The look on the French Player's face when they were humiliated by the Pumas

Can someone explain to me, in plain English please, why our Try was not allowed, TIA :)

gallois 20 October 2007 11:15 PM

the game was pretty poor as games go, very defensive and constant kicking away posession for both sides, yesterdays argie game was much better. 2nd place is a good result though overall.

it was deemed his foot touched the the line prior to the ball being grounded. and it looked like that to me too.
