My 00MY RE010s are running very low, and I want to replace them with a full set of Bridgestone S-03s, but so far have been told about £500 for all four (local specialist). Is there a better place in the South East (i.e. 2hrs from Worthing) to get a set fitted for a lot less?

Also, is there any truth in the story about Bridgestone making specific S-03s for Imprezas, Evos, etc.?

dont know re specifics for imprezas but I doubt it.

Dont know what size you are talking but I got my 18 inch so3s for £520 fitted.

So 17s and 16s are gonna be cheaper.

Try jet tyures in canvey on 01268 511161. bob the boss will answer. Tell him you have an impreza, and that Adam sent you. He will be nice to you.

D'oh, sorry should've said 205/50 16s.

I would guess that jet tyres would absolutely obliterate that price given that I almsost paid that price for 18s. give them a go.

I got quoted £97.50 fitted for each tyre from Bob at Jet tyres. They were also 205/50/16 SO3's. That was for only 2, you may get a better deal for 4.

Excellent, I'll give Bob a try.

Just hope they hold up as long as the RE010s. I know they won't, but 13,000m on the RE010s is a bit worrying! Is that normal?
What should I expect from the S03s.....6,000?!?!?!?

Cheers
Jack
