Its my old one and assuming the idiot who bought it hasn't managed to bugger it up its a perfectly straight example. I should never have sold it and certainly not to someone who couldn't afford to run it. He's had it 3 months at most.

It needs a major service so offer 6K cash and see what happens.

I will never forgive myself for selling it.

I think its a lot of money for a 96 wrx, if something happened to the engine then your left with a car thats worth bugger all,

6k should get you a nice very sti or even a modded uk 99/00

Mine will be up for sale soon m8, is white tho and i need to get a few things done.... its a MY98 UK Turbo 2000 model, 84k ( only 8k since i've owned it ) FSH, 18' Rota GRA's and straight through pipe from turbo back with a Blitz Nur-Spec R so de-cat'ed,brakes upgraded from 2 pot to subaru 4pot and fitted with standard disc and preditor pads, got mintex disc's and pads ere waiting to go on the rear,.
just taxed for 6 months and 6 months MOT left.

Now my brain hurts...lol

P.s Its had all new belts, plugs etc......

hi all, i asked to bloke to get a dyno of his impreza wrx above, he had it done yesturday and the results were 360 bhp/ 396 ft/lb. the bloke who dyno'd it said it has bags of power and he thinks the ecu needs to be set up to get more bhp.

its a bit out of your price range but mines up for sale would got to £7500 but no less.

spuddys wrx ra is up for sale at 7.5k, and I know the car quite well and its a cracker, lovely condition,low miles, fully rebuilt uprated engine, lovely extra's on it defi bf gauges etc

Just out of interest but I thought a Z4 ecu couldn't be remapped, or am I wrong.

Doubt it ever had 415bhp and probably won't get it, lots of people running 20G turbos claim 400+bhp but very few seem to make it on a rolling road, think simbs only made about 360-370 on a forge 2.5 with sti heads.
They do make very good mid range toruqe though. :thumb:

luckily i havent bought it yet because now he said he had to take off the blow off valve vecause it was interfiering with the boost controller.

it was mapped by pat hetborne

£7.5k is a good price (for the buyer) IMO.
