The Saddest Car Forum Ever... Vol. 1

SABRE - Forums - View Forum - British and Irish Roads

I enjoy most motorways that I have driven on (with the exceptions of at least half the south east motorways which I haven’t experienced as of yet).

Has it ever been known for streetlights to be "preserved"? or given a preservation order? similar to maybe listed buildings or even prominant trees?
:iamwithst

At 1.30 this morning it was decided that a random drive was in order. didn't want to go too far so a route involving Runcorn and Liverpool took place...

Wonder what was happening on 07/08 2007 at 00:18 when they had 437 users online :wonder: .

davyboy 10 October 2007 07:37 PM

IS it any worse that a thread that has in depth details of someone cleaning their car?

pslewis 10 October 2007 07:52 PM

I read a post once where some sad fellow soaks his Oil Filter overnight - then, to cap it off, after an Oil change disconnected his spark plugs and Crank Sensor :lol1:

Can't remember which Forum it was, but I shan't be going back there!! ;) :D :lol1:

David Lock 10 October 2007 07:54 PM

Give them a break - they enjoy their motoring.

Wouldn't it be so much better if their website discussed penis size and wanking in the office. Now that IS sad  dl

NACRO 10 October 2007 08:33 PM

Sadder than those websites? Talking about them here.

paulwrxboro 10 October 2007 11:00 PM

someone post on there, which is faster a scooby or an m3, or had a race with a lambo and won , that will get them going :)

turbogav 10 October 2007 11:06 PM

You've got to be joking:eek:

It depends what you call fascinating. I'm fascinated by things in places they shouldn't really be, like a bolt of lightning over blue sky or the Runcorn Expressways and oddities like the Carrington Spur
:lol1:

stringostar 11 October 2007 12:09 AM

WTF is that all about??? just had a glimpse at sabre website forum doofer thingy, and all people go on about is the rectangular angles of round national speed limits signs.... EH?? lol!!!

Or whether they'd seen someone else somewhere driving the same mass-produced Japanese car. :cuckoo:

davyboy 11 October 2007 08:37 AM

....and this driver of the same mass produced car waving or not :)

LOL :D

I actually read some of it and found it quite interesting especially about some of the viaducts in France.

Abdabz 11 October 2007 09:06 AM

I love the low bridge debate :lol1: Some guy sees a sign for a low bridge and posts about it and then rent-a-spod say "I remember seeing a bridge that was 1' 5" " etc  NO YOU DONT YOU SPOD!!! Pretending to see a low bridge somewhere in Pontychuffingpandy or some other welsh village does not make you special :lol1:
It is a pure comedy forum.... :thumb:

SwissTony 11 October 2007 10:13 AM

Now that is my kind of forum :thumb: :D

where do I sign up :thumb:

Dracoro 11 October 2007 11:13 AM

Yes, they are a bit sad, seems harmless though.

Most people in the *outside world* will think of ALL us lot as a *bit sad* for perusing and posting on car forums.

A bit of perspective maybe?
