All 993 callipers are available in Red or Black, 996 in Red only, complete

These kits use genuine Porsche parts, and are German TUV approved.
The rotors are forged complete with their unique ventilation system, the
only machining they undergo is surface grinding, eliminating stress risers,
and making them very durable under heavy use. (very high resistance to
cracking & distortion).

Coupled with the Porsche 4 piston aluminium callipers system, they guarantee
high braking forces, with reduced braking distances, and "Fade Free"
repeated high speed braking.
These brake have been developed for heavy street cars, not lightweight race
cars, so they are equally effective on high performance cars, as well as
heavy high security vehicles. Developed for high performance road use, they
will give you confidence to use your cars full performance on both road &
track.

Fitting is a straight forward job for a competent auto engineer as the kits
come ready to bolt on with all necessary fittings. Fitting time around 2
hours per axle. NOTE: Some light machining may be necessary to the vehicles
calliper mounting points, in some applications

Well these brakes are always Brembo brakes that porsche order especially to them.
Brembo serie oro is not worse.

you don't get it, do you? You posted a similar comment on an older thread. Brembo only produces the callipers to Porsche spec, the discs by the way are manufactured in Germany. The Brembo d'oro kit uses a standard brembo disc which you can't compare the a Porsche disc as the venting system of the Porsche disc is unique and therefore registered.

I wanted the "Porsche 996 Carrera 4-piston-aluminium MONOBLOCK callipers : kit" myself, but I suppose we could mix'n match.

Still the calipers are Brembo's.
In addition the discs offer similar performances at this level, the differences are more of noise nature.
To add a good anti-fading effect many people isolate the pads from the calipers with thin isolant.

AFAIK, Movit remove the Porsche logo from the caliper and replace it with their own! (still some kudos I assume?)

As some may know I am *seriously* considering this setup, probably the GT3 calipers and pads, though maybe the slightly cheaper 996 ones.

Why do I want this? well, it's a bit different from the AP/Brembo/other kits that most people have, plus it looks really cool! :D:D

scoobymike and also Richard @ Jas Traction have been awesome in the amount of information they have provided me so far. If I don't go for this setup then I'll be using AP 4 or 6 pots, but like I said, i really want this.

OK, I'm no money bags, but my theory is that I'm going to upgrade my brakes to such a level where I should not need to upgrade the setup any further, thus the initial large outlay should be worth it in the long run, along with the kudos of having 'porsche' poking out from under my wheels :D
