When its near to the end of your existing premium, give Chris Knott a look at: chrisknott.co.uk Or give them a call on: 0800 9172274 and tell them your a friend of mine (Glen Hawkins) and quote reference number 480 and you should get a good quote from them :)

Just FYI, there is a dedicated section on these forums for Insurance:
https://www.scoobynet.com/insurance-19/ ;). |
Just got a quote from Frizzell that beat all my other quotes by £100.

I'm with Privilige now, but tried Tesco compare t'other evening and Tesco themselves came out above Privilige by nearly £150. Quoted me £550 but I am an old timer at 30 :)
So I shall be trying them again when it's due for renewal but will also try A-plan after reading this thread. |

Whatever you do,stay away from More Than insurance. Just insured my Mondeo ST24(second car) with them, could hardly understand what they were saying on the phone and when the policy came through the post almost every detail was wrong, took 2 days to get it sorted because they wanted to charge me for change of details :wonder: They were very cheap though but I just hope I never have to deal with them over a claim !! |

I'm so relieved that I dont live in the UK.. here in Iceland it doesnt matter how old you are or how modified your car is and the car is insured and everyone can drive it.. no problems
and I'm paying about £630 a year |
I'm 23 with 3 years NCB and 3 points on my licence and I am paying £1250 for a 2007 STi with full exhaust, front splitter and alloys all declared.
Thats with Bell, part of the Admiral Group. G |
ecar, 23 no ncb, less than two years on license, £1750, due for renewal in december this year. everyone else wanted £3000+
|
I pay £360 fully comp. Protected and partner on insurance. That is with all mods declared, but I am older than most on here :thumb:

It's usually cheaper if you add your missus to your policy (or mum if you is a batty boy), as apparently they are less risk... no sexism there then. You can save a couple of hundred adding them as a second driver, just don't actually let em drive :lol1:
