You do like playing with fibreglass dont you!
Good job mate, must have taken a lot of time and effort to get it right. Nice install too - hate to think how much it all weighs. |
not sure about the boot lid mate.....!!!!
|
that looks rather cool - you must have the patience of a saint.
|
Not sure, seems like alot of work for a boot light!!!
Why didn't you mould some speakers into? pointless I know. But it seems you're more about look than function, and with the boot open as much as I'm sure you have it, this would give you some good sounds. On another note, please add the photos the the thread next time, it was a ball ache having to go back and forth all the time.:thumb: |
good job m8, fancy making me one . lol

Hi mate,
i've been looking for someone to do this for ages, i've seen a kenwood sponsored newage scoob at trax this. heres the thread to when i asked guys from talkaudio.co.uk about what i should do with my bootlid How to fabicate my boot lid? fibreglass or something else?(pics) - Talk Audio Forums from the pics in the links i have finished the foaming an trimmed it all back so there is nothing outside the bootlid line. could i be really cheeky and ask for abit of a writen step by step guide for me? i've never done fiber glassing before. Do you think its possible and have the boot off the car for only about 4-5 days. |
where did you get the fibreglass from?
and how do you get to mould it to a shape you want? |
