CrisPDuk 30 September 2007 08:22 PM

I'm a Liverpool fan born and bred:thumb:

MrsD is a City fan I wouldn't even have gone out with her if she'd been a red manc:nono:

Does that answer your question;)

J4CKO 30 September 2007 08:31 PM

I personally cant be doing with Man Utd Glory hunting Prawn Sandwich eating Box owning part time fans,

But they pale into insignificance compared to bitter, chip on shoulder, dour faced, resigned, miserable, persecution complected, grim faced, mean spirited City fans.

Yes, just imagine, while you were watching a breathtaking United side win countless Premierships, FA Cups and even the Champions League, you could have been sitting at Maine Road watching dull as dishwater City in division 2!
:lol1:

davegtt 30 September 2007 10:16 PM

You cant ask an Oldham fan this question. City are big rivals but everybody is welcome to Boundary park apart from United fans. FACT!

Live in Manchester, therefore can only be a red. Although I do love hearing the bitters advertise for fans on XFM and the Revolution. Manchester is blue my arse, more like Manchester has many empty blue seats.

The most exciting team and best prospects you lot have had for 30 years and you stil can't be arsed to fill your stadium.

I think you have it the wrong way round. To support United, you have to be from anywhere but Manchester

Abdabz 01 October 2007 09:11 AM

United for life :notworthy

Also... City have some of the most loyal support in the country. I'm a QPR fan, so I have no particular love for them ( I have been chased out of Maine Road, when it was still standing, on more than one occaision :)) But you can't help but be impressed by the fact they got 40,000 regularly when they were in Div2 a few years back.

Paul3446 01 October 2007 10:54 AM

Shame they can't fill their stadium when they're in the Premiership though! :lol1:

angrynorth 01 October 2007 12:44 PM

My god there are some deluded people on this thread.

Firstly, I am Manchester born and bred. I currently have an M4 postcode which is city centre - so I am hardly a southener!

Secondly, City fans are hardly loyal, as mentioned earlier in this thread they still don't fill their stadium despite actually playing good football this season (less than 92% average this season).

Unsurprisingly, the only full capacity game this season so far at the Boo Camp was against us.

Finally having lived here for 27 years I'm certain that there are more reds in Manchester than blues, despite what the deluded bitter losers will tell you.

One more thing... :hjtwofing

Paul3446 01 October 2007 12:49 PM

This whole Man Utd fans don't live in Manchester cracks me up, it's just that Man Utd has far more fans than City worldwide, so logically they live all over the place. City fans just interpret that as meaning no-one in Manchester actually supports United! :lol1:

PeteBrant 01 October 2007 12:51 PM

Less than 92% average? :lol1: - So, what thier stadium is 91% full as an average? In a ground that holds 47,000 Sounds pretty good to me! In fact, It sounds like their core support is unchanged - In otherwords, no glory hunting supporters ;)

Kris (Old Trafford ;))

Paul3446 01 October 2007 01:04 PM

errr, for the reason I just explained? :wonder: :lol1:

wrx-kris 01 October 2007 01:06 PM

The majority of people who live in Manchester support city.

Just incase you didn't understand :D
