Optional on high range Golfs.

Had them in my Z3 a few years ago. Freezing cold days, top down, heated seats and blowers on. (what a tw*t)

v8voodoo 29 September 2007 11:26 AM

Optional on MINI's. Had them in my '02 Cooper S.

M3, MX5, Ghia Focus, anything with leather as an option nowadays has heated option too

logiclee 29 September 2007 11:08 PM

Most things with Leather now have heated seats.

Even later high spec Mondeos have variable temperature heated seats that are also ventilated through the perfiorated leather by internal fans.

My Jeep has variable heated seats and an aux diesel heater so I get hot heating from the vents whithin a minute or so of starting up as well as a warm bum and back.
Not really sporting but it will pull 3.5T through mud which is handy for me. :)

Cheers

S2000 doesn't have heated seats and no option for them either. I refer to my knowledge of 1999-2004 cars, I'm 99% sure 2005 cars don't either and I suspect 2006/7 are in the same boat but I can't be sure as they did make revisions.

Option on vRS Octavias :)

SLIAN 30 September 2007 05:50 PM

Just admit it, you want a Saab or a Volvo.

J4CKO, Saab owner, 9-3 150 LPT that just held a new shape 330i to 80 mph, whilst having a nice warm bottom.

2.0RE and 3.0 Spec B Legacy's.
And the're cheap too second hand... (REALLY CHEAP)
And alot better made than the Impreza (I have both)
And nicer to drive

Essential item on my e46 M3 Cab.

My Audi A8 had them as well - 6 levels and a heated steering wheel as well. Now that was nice. :D

Buy the car you like and then spend an extra couple of quid on a hot water bottle. This will keep you warm until the car is hot and if you find yourself stuck in a snow drift later, you will have cold water to drink, hence avoiding yellow snow :norty:

You see I think of everything :thumb:
