New roadworks on A13 with Speed cameras
A13 MAJOR MAINTENANCE
We have today been advised that resurfacing work on the A13 will begin on Monday, 1st October. The work will be carried out on a 3.5 km section of the carriageway in both directions between the Stanford-le-Hope and Five Bells junctions and will last for around six weeks. To ensure the timely completion of the work, it is necessary to operate a 24-hour working pattern. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained westbound during the morning peak period and two lanes eastbound during the evening peak period. At all other times traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction. You should also note that a 40mph speed restriction will be strictly enforced, actively supported by speed cameras. |
they have done right well with this....signs have been up saying the work was going to start 24th sep and last 6 weeks!!!!! typical.
