Can anyone recommend a decent anytime service provider? I'm after something that can be accessed via a BT line [cos I live in the sticks] 24/7 access inclusive. Not to fussed about the monthly cost as long as its relatively quick and reliable. [unlike Freeserve] Oh and must support an email address.

TIA

Nick

My company offers a very good AnyTime service, however we charge a lot for it as it's aimed at businesses using single channel ISDN. We sell it as a cheap alternative to a 64k leased line. You get a phone line all your own, so no busy tones, you never get cut off by us (unless your idle for 20 mins, BT/Freeserve will cut you off whenever they get busy) and the throuput is very good. Of course it works with analogue dial up as well.

Cost £65+VAT per month subscription, plus you'll need to pay BT £19.99 (incl. VAT) per month. Not cheap, but if you genuinely want to stay connected 24/7, we're your only option.

You'll also get 20Mb of webspace, unlimited mailboxes and a local rate support line.

well I'm using Homechoice, I know there is the speed only 115 instead of 512 and their promice for over 2 years for the upgrade, but for 21.00 pounds a month and 24/7 connection without any cuts off unless you restart comp I'm happy, just the speed could be faster for downloads :)

Can you do fixed IPs on your business service for SMTP mail?

Edit to ask if you have a minimum contract length?
