Yes, it was very thoughtful of Her Majesty to declare a public holiday on my wedding anniversary.

:)

GaryC 07 January 2002 06:04 PM

NO... it will be expensive now that the Queen has declared a bank holiday on your wedding anniversary ;) :(

XRS 07 January 2002 06:19 PM

Gary,

Not when your wife is as reasonable as mine (and she reads this BB)!

Next year IS a biggie though, so it could get expensive.

j.r-xrs 07 January 2002 07:20 PM

Cheers guys at least I know when it is now! ;)

Queens Jubilee. Suits me - only need to book 3 extra days off work for TT week :) Might have an extra few pints and do a few extra laps to celebrate as well :) :D :)

KimA 08 January 2002 10:19 AM

Can this be classed as an extra day, seeing as we lose the bank holiday at the end of May? I think not - we've been had ;)

Fozzie 08 January 2002 10:21 AM

Kim - We now get 3rd and 4th of June instead of the one in May. The would be 2 instead of 1, which is 1 more ;)

KimA 08 January 2002 10:43 AM

duh - thanks - maths isn't my strong point! ;) :D

Robertio 10 January 2002 10:46 PM

That'd be that extra days public holiday that we don't get at my work then, well at least the place should be fairly quiet

GM 10 January 2002 11:26 PM

So that makes how many public holidays for me then? Oh yes, that'll be the one

(Shouldn't complain really, not with 7 weeks holiday:))

Alan 11 January 2002 10:17 AM

Thanks to the Queen my wedding guests get a 4 day weekend, and since I'm not heading off straight away I too will enjoy the 4 day break.

Could not of have been planned better if I tried.
