what needs uprating to bring my turbo upto wrx power etc

ur actual "turbo" or all that goes with?

another few pounds of boost should suffice.

Dont get wrapped on book power figures....a lot of Jap WRX's dont perform that well. Some do, some dont.

But UK cars are perfectly tunable too, and probably a better purchase, unless you get the WRX cheap or are sure of its history.

Drop in a td05 with electronic boost control and try and get hold of a wrx ecu

randomly swapping ecu's isnt a good idea.

Many years ago I swapped a WRX into my old Legacy.....it went a lot slower than it did with the standard ecu, and a tad more boost.
Oddly the WRX ecu made the car horrible.

The std ecu can cope with a fair bit...but eventually, just get rid of it.
