well its done over 130k miles now.

Just sat on A41 doing 80ish and CLANK CLANK etc.

Full of oil etc, just one of those things :(

I have had a 1.9 lump in the garage for months now so just need to fit it in now :wonder:

V4JDMSTi 14 September 2007 12:10 PM

stick with the 1.6 mate. the 1.9 is a lot heavier and messes up the handling compared to the lighter 1.6. get it bored out or stroked and fit some decent cams and twin webbers. will eat 1.9's all day long then :D

cookstar 14 September 2007 12:12 PM

I was told the 1.9 block was the same, just had a longer stroke, I already have all the parts so will be sticking to that for time being.

Keeping the 1.6 gearbox though :)

B0DSKI 14 September 2007 12:18 PM
