Anyone know of any plans to release a new version of Elite on the PC or consoles ? Heard rumours a couple of years ago but nothing surfaced.

I have just bought Elite for the Amiga from ebay.co.uk - waiting for it to come at the moment. Have also got an Amiga 500+ to play it on.

tho saying that the c64 was probably a little better...

To be honest I prefer shaded polygons to outlines, but then that's personal preference!

Arrrr, what a game.... Spent many a long day playing out the role of Space trader and bounty hunter on my BBC B. Sent of the registration card after I got ELITE status and received an Elite badge :D

Best game ever. Took about 6 months out of my life.
