DO IMPREZA SALOON REAR LIGHTS FIT IMPREZA ESTATES...
 

hi there...

As per the thread title can anyone tell me if this is the case...

I have a 1999 Impreza Sport Estate on a T plate and an opening gate has smashed the rear passenger lights. I spoke to a guy at a Subaru dealership (Hyltons of Shrewsbury) and he didn't know if saloon rear lights fit the estate versions. He was only interested in trying to get me to buy a new one at a cost of £120 plus VAT (ouch...).

No they dont fit.
Wagon & saloon rear lights are slightly different in size & shape.

In that case can anyone point me in the direction of a Subaru breaker...

Also put a add up in the wanted section, thats where I got a set of standard rear wagon lights from.

There are other breakers but I have only bought from the above when items/parts have been posted out. All are very good but you just need to call them all to see who does the best deal in terms of price.

Will keep them in mind. I've come across a few listings on eBay for Wagon rear lights. Do rear lights for imported Imprezas fit on UK cars because I think that the sellers specialize in imported cars...

Yes they do fit, its just that the uk have rear fog lights & the imports dont.
You can add/diy an extra bulb with holder for the rear fog in the import lights.
