How much more for suspension mods?

Hi,

I've just spoken to A Plan who insure me at present.

I have a WRX PPP and am planning to add a Whiteline Adjustable rear ARB and a set of Eibach springs.

At presnt I pay £690 fully comp and they want another £90 on top of this to cover the suspesnion mods. This seems a bit steep. Does anybody have any similar experience of adding mods with A Plan?

I've recently had Tein Superstreets put on mine, and contacted Aplan about them and they were put onto my policy with only a £15 admin charge.

When I was with Priviledge, the premium went up by 25% when I added the PPP, and they wanted another 25% to change the suspension.

I'm not with them any more...

Sounds a bit much to me...

I had P-ff7's,Prodrive lowering springs and a front lip spoiler without any difference to the price.

The only thing i suppose is it was when i took the policy out with them so they may have just thrown them in as freebie so to speak.

I would only expect an admin charge though to be honest.
