You've got £750

This might be a good one for anyone with a new car and thinking of modifying it.

You've got £750 spare cash burning a hole in your pocket. What do you spend it on:wonder:

Styling
Handling, or
Engine:norty:

And why? I'm imagining Frayz will give us the definitive answer on this:notworthy

MrBush 07 September 2007 10:51 PM

I've never got £750 burning a hole in anything....... :(

I wish I had £7.50 to burn a hole in something!

Budgie 07 September 2007 10:57 PM

:wonder:  Buy a nice wig? :lol1: :D

Northern Nick 07 September 2007 11:13 PM

I'd add a bit more towards and buy an APS DR525 front mounted intercooler

Looie 07 September 2007 11:27 PM

All 3............ :lol1:

iSCOOB 08 September 2007 03:00 AM

Where's the bufty option?

£750 would go nicely towards a pot of vintage :D

L.J.F 08 September 2007 04:23 AM

well i was told today that i need a new gearbox and possibly a new set of gaskets, so it would have to go towards that!!!!

cookstar 08 September 2007 04:25 AM

I voted for handling, as im assuming that includes braking system, my next mod :)

Nate 08 September 2007 09:59 AM

handling also :thumb: for £750 you will see better gains for your money, than £750 spent on engine (depending on what you have already done to your car ;) ) .

Nate 08 September 2007 09:59 AM

Or get some Train horns :norty: ......... You will also have change :D

EmEm 08 September 2007 03:25 PM

I said styling, as I am more of a stunner rather than a runner!! :lol1:
£750 would get you a great set of graphics, plus change for a few other bits!

Northern Nick 08 September 2007 06:37 PM

I thought an APS DR525 FMIC came under styling not engine mods :norty:

frayz 08 September 2007 07:59 PM

Easy one this... Handling!!

£750 wouldnt go along way but it would make some fundemental changes that would really add some sparkle to an otherwise stock impreza.

Uprated pads, Ferodo DS3000 front/rear -
Massively better than the DS2500 and really work.

Motul RBF 600 Brake fluid.

Whiteline rear anti roll bar

Noltec rear droplinks.

Mocom Racing geometry setup.

Deffo my choice if i was in that position :thumb:

Thanks Frayz :notworthy

Just goes to show that most peole's heads say handling, but the heart says engine.....

Perhaps I should have added a 4th option - Ring Sticker - but does that come under styling, handling, engine or all 3:D

Ring sticker can be added at anytime... only after the full Nordschleife has been driven though :D

Add the handling mods i suggested first though, you'll be wanting them if going to the ring.
