Newage roll cage anyone?
Okay guys,
Im looking for a "Bolt in " roll cage for the neage impreza. Having just come back from the Nurburgring again, ive decided i almost certainly need to add one of these. Its getting to the point where you dare not go any quicker without one. Also looking around the carpark seeing that almost every car runs at least a bolt in cage. I know that the only one at the moment is a Safety devices one and is supplied by Scooby Clinic. Im looking for interior shots of bolt in cages and their pickup points. Apparantly both the newage and classic cage are the same so pics of any would be a big help. Obviously pics of the newage would help me more. Cheers. :thumb: |
Frayz, I don't know, but I think someone on SOX has one his his blobeye, so might be worth asking in there, other than that I can only suggest 'that other site' to look throught which I am sure you have done :lol1:

There doesn't seem to be much else out there. I feel, cage and seats need to be doing with what i have in mind for the car, engine etc. :D |
I see your point with the US items. It might just be a case of getting one fitted to yours. At the end of the day, its not how it looks, but wheather or not 'will it save your life'.

is the rear cage just for show and to add weight?
I personally don't see the point of half a cage, you are in the front, and the gage is in the back  |

Just a rear cage would still stop the roof caving in if it went over
the only time that a full cage would come into use is if you rolled along the armco crushing the whole cell :thumb: plus it will give safer mounting points for harnesses :thumb: than no cage |
The cage price has just come down a little @ Scoobyclinic, Pls give us call, were more than happy to fit a cage to such a stunning bug

Surely the US cages have all the triangulation to a point on the left hand side above the drivers head for left hookers???
