I use it and its geat stuff.
Apply to a small area at a time. Makes sure the paint is cool and out of direct sunlight. Just work in as per a polish and wipe away exess. Well thats what I do anyway. |
Okay thanks appreciatte the reply , wonder just how bad a scratch can it actually work its magic on ??!!
|
Depends on the scratch.
It won't hide scratches that are down to the primer ie. ones you can feel with your nail. I've used it on fine scratches, swirls and paint imperfections and it's worked well. Seems like a coarse polish to me.You will have to re-apply any waxes / sealants afterwards though as it'll strip them off. Unfortuneately there is no 'wonder' product that can hide / fill deep scratches, none that i know of anyway.Try it,it won't do any harm and it's handy stuff to have stored away. |
It works well enough, but Menzerna Intensive Polish cuts a little more and is easier to fully break down IMHO. :)
|
But that needs a machine polisher does't it?
|
Nope, not the original version, i.e. this one...
Menzerna Intensive Polish this is ideal for hand use, and is best applied using the white side of a German Pad. It is my go to product for people trying to correct harder paints by hand, and I've seen plenty of good results with it on Scooby paint. For machine use, the newer version is much better, and not so well suited to hand use... Menzerna Intensive Polish (PO85RD3.02) :) |
