Willa version 8 rear bench fit into a version 2 Impreza?
 

Hello there,

I've just fitted pair of version 8 STi alcantera front seats. Now the rest of the interior doesn't match. I'm in the process of trimming the door cards, but save greif, time money and effort I was wondering would the rear bench from a version 8 fit into a classic Impreza a version 2 (pre-facelift)?

They look the same, but I'm sure the mounting points etc may welll differ. Can anyone comment? How you done it to yours? If so what needs to be done to make it fit?

That is done in the US quite a bit. The Version 8 seat is actually not as wide and will leave a small gap on the sides. Nothing to cut at all.

So it literally bolts in and thats thats? Does anyone have photo of the rear bench fitted so I can check out the gap?

Reason I ask is I've gotthe chance to get the rear bench from a RB5 which is near enough the same.

Anyone?
