Red paint on sti engine
 

Hi all.....

I have a few chips on the red part of my 02 sti engine.....

don't know what its called.... (not the intercooler sti )

Anyone know were you can get the same colour high temp. paint from to repaint the few chips?

that will be the inlet manifold. the chips as you call them is probably the paint flaking, it happens to most of sti's. Unfortunately once they start flaking there isn't a lot you can do. its not expensive to re paint (frosts paints- do a search for details on here), but quite time consuming. Alternatively Carl Davey does them on exchange.
