Bramley Kensington - Subaru Dealers

Just wanted to give people a word of warning, as I've just collected my car from this dealers after getting some work done.

The work was fine, no complaints. The thing I'm more concerned about is that they leave the cars outside in the street, a very busy street in an industrial estate.

Unfortunately while my car was there someone has scraped down the drivers side (pedestrian) and left a long scratch from the rear door and all the way to the rear of the car.

When I pointed this out to the dealer he didn't look impressed, and the response was less than impressive when I asked if the car was left out overnight..."Well we didn't know you would be leaving it for 3 days" in a less than friendly tone.

The scratches look like they will polish out, but no offer to fix it from the dealer, he did bring out a dirty cloth and rub polish into the scratch (thanks).

Oh and I spent a grand and they didn't even clean it!?

I won't be going back, very very disappointing.

I think you need to kick up a fuss about this TBH mate

Not good at all !!

I use Cheam Subaru, nice big customer car park, free on site coffee and tea for WYW jobs, and more than friendly service.
Bit further to drive, but feel I am leaving the car in good hands.

I think in my anger I made the scratch sound worse than it was, it will polish out easily, but it could have been a deep scratch with slightly more pressure...

Although you are all right about kicking up a fuss, I'd rather complain to Subaru direct (if that's possible?) because my car will never go back to this dealership.

Yes do so, it gets action!...

I made a complaint direct to the head of Renault when I wasn't happy with work done by my local dealer (bypassing them) on my 5 GT turbo and, unwittingly, almost got the the bloke in charge of the workshop the sack!!! I felt so sorry for him, as this certainly WAS NOT my intention, of course. But it does show that the 'mechanism' works...
