Type R rear driveshaft size
 

Hi All,
what are the sizes of a 99 V5 Type R rear drive shafts? I need to get a pair for the R180 Plated Diff.

Are Type R/RA Driveshafts Different??

if its an STi RA later than '96 then they are the same as the type-R's BUT NOT the std RA which uses same as WRX, etc..............

The diff is from a STI 5 Type R and the plated option,

not sure what your asking exactly, you need the shafts from a type-R..............

std shafts are totally different

I have a V5 Type R but it had a WRX Box put in it along with the R160 Diff, the driveshafts were spliced from the R160 to match the R180 hubs.
I am putting back in a V5 Type R gearbox and R180 Diff I just need the Correct Standard V5 Type R Rear Driveshafts, but i need to know the size so I can get them on order, I tried API but they need to know what size they are.

to my knowledge there is only one spec of classic R180 rear d/shafts..............

ok, I was made to think they were different for the plated and non plated diffs, but if they are the same thats great,
So where can I get a pair??

the R180 rear diff fitted to the type-R are all plated diffs.............
