What colour shall I get my wheels sprayed!
At present I've got some very battered P1 wheels on my WRX.
See Pic. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...n/100_1361.jpg They look a lot worse close up! I've been to a refurb shop and have decided to get them done. Next question. What colour? I like the anthracite colour of the P1 wheel but may fancy a change. Can anyone suggest an alternative colour? Is bright flitter one I've seen on SNET? Pics would be great!! Cheers! |
Gold all the way:D :D Nah I prefer anthracite especially with blue
|
I think white would look good. Thats if you don't mind cleaning your wheels.......everyday!
|
anthracite mate. did you see my car transformed after mine where refurbed not so long ago.

eBay.co.uk Shop - supergraphics-f1: OZ Products: OZ Racing Wheel Rim Sticker Decal Alloy Race Rally x4 |
I think white on sonic blue looks awesome.
It is a PITA to keep clean though. Bronze would be a good bet. |

him... eBay Seller: italian-job-minis: Car Parts, Film Memorabilia items on eBay.co.uk basically i explained i wanted the oz-racing decals curved to fit the outer rim of a 17" wheel. told him they were p1 alloys and sent a piccy through of an example. arrived within 3 days. £20 for eight. emailed a guy called gareth. if you mention me (same ebay name as on here) and my car, mentioning the rpice i would assume he'll do yours too for the same price. theres the ebay account, then they have a web address too... The Italian Job gift voucher for the classic 1969 film starring Michael Caine filmed in the UK, Ireland and Italy doesnt look like its helpful, but the decals were bloody excellent. just make sure your wheels are totally clean, no wax etc, and persevere when applying. |
Difficult choice - as always down to personal taste. I liked the silver and anthracite - so went for both - see my scooby.
|
Any more folks. I need more pics and colours please....
|
i had bronze before, then got bored and went white. personally i love the white, even if they are a pain to keep clean, although i know plenty others that loved the bronze on the car
:: Log in im sure i had these pics on here, but the search engine function is bollox :brickwall  |
Want to get mine powder coated black, is it something that can be done in a day as I need my car to get to work and only have one set of wheels?

Depending where you go, they may or may not have a tyre machine. If not you'll have to get the tyres removed yourself, or they could get it done, but might add a day to the total time. A proper powder coating place will shot blast the wheels first, and the dryin/curing time of powder coating it self will probably take 8 plus hours. |
