I had a very serious look at a Vauxhall Monaro VXR with the LS2 lump in it before going down the Scooby route (pick up car saturday!!).

Basically great cars, its all about the 6L V8 and it does sound amazing and goes like hell. However, the Vauxhall and Network Q dealerships are some of the most unhelpful and pathetic excuses for dealerships that I have ever come across, basically I'd never buy a Vauxhall as the dealers are utter balls. Also expect to pay around £1400 for front discs and pads from a dealer, thats just the front btw not the rears as well!

Also the interior is on the boring and bland side for a car that apparently costs nearly £40K although you can pick a new one up for £25-26K easily.

If I were you I'd stop playing games and just get a TVR Sagaris or T350c!!

Think you need to let us in on your budget, and what you are going to use the car for if you want help deciding.

There is a big difference in price between a £20k Vauxhall Monaro, and a £10K R32 GTR, or £7k Supra.:thumb:
Not to mention the monumental difference in running costs (and reliability) between the 330D and a 600bhp R32.:D

Monaro! If I had a spare twenty grand I'd have nothing else.

But I don't so it's irrelevant.
