only kidding hence the ;) been there done that with the rs turbos and cossies. so i do have experience of them and rebuilding several rs turbos and cossies. all due to det where previous owners done the all too easy wind in the actuator to get more boost and causing melted pistons. i'd rather rebuild a cossie than a scooby any day. so much easier to access everything.

totally agree with you on that one - personally I think the YB's were the dogs, and if sorted right the power gains and reliability were 2nd to none! I've never had a cossie go bang on me - but maybe I've just been lucky!:)
