So do MY02-05 WRX coilovers fit an MY06 WRX?

I was told some time ago that MY06 WRX struts have a slightly different bolt arrangement at the bottom and so previous newage coilovers would not fit (i know MY05 STi onwards are different due to the 5x114 hubs). But just reading on NASIOC people have fitted coilovers from say a bugeye to a hawkeye WRX with no problems.

So the question is... are the US hawkeye a different spec from a UK suspension/hub wise or was i told wrong info. Can a bug/blob coilover kit fit a hawkeye (ignoring STi changes).

Anybody know for sure?

I dont, but Curtis at Powerstation will.

I was tempted to give Powerstation a call as it was ASTs that i was looking at.... but i wanted to keep my eye out for a cheap second hand set so didn't want to phone up for information then say thanks for that but i won't be buying new from you. That's kind of cheeky ;)

Reading more on NASIOC the spring design changed during the newage WRX years so you can't just interchange springs due to the strut seating design, hats etc... but it does seem a complete strut replacement/coilovers is fully interchangeable from WRX MY01-07. Do i part money tho on a 2nd hand set based on what the Yanks are saying :D
