Sky TV - Help required by eejit!!!
Believe it or not, im getting Sky installed for the 1st time ever tomorrow:luxhello:
So, I know nothing and need some help with connecting Sky to not only my downstairs tv(which the installers will do), but also my bedroom set too. How can I connect it up (I appreciated both TVs will be watching the same sky channel) and how can I change channel from upstairs?! Any links to products and any info would be greatly appreciated :) Thankyou |

Get a digi sender unit , will send the signal to another tv with out wires and the remote control will work from the other room as well. Had mine from argos , can also watch dvd's from the dvd player downstairs as well .

Just get sky multiroom, its a lot easier than f*cking about with all the wires.:thumb:

Fantastic information people :) Im looking at a wireless system if possible and I see Maplins have one for sale too :)
Sky multiroom was £50 install plus an additional £10 per month, which I thought was OTT considering I just want a couple of extra channels and a nice cheap package. |
I've got sky multiroom in three rooms, get rid of the movies that will save you about £8.50 a month.

A point to note is that most video senders will only send a composite signal, not digital. You won't notice the difference though if you get a decent one.
