Twent four Seven - How had I never seen this before!
 

Watched Shane Meadows First film, Twenty Four Seven last night; amazing!

Was only one of his films i hadn't seen and it is by far the best, totally blows This is England, Dead Man's Shoes, On Upon A Time etc.... out of the water.

Couldn't fault it at all in anyway, fantastic acting, directing, cinematography, editing, soundtrack, a masterpiece imo.

Bob Hoskins is superb in it, as are the other main players, it's even got Frank Carver as the usual menacing gangster but with a nice side too :) He even calls someone a "Drunken Fu**in Stumblebum" about 6/7 years before he uses the phrase in Football Factory :D

Can't reccomend it enough if you like Meadows other films.
