It would be:thumb:

If it wasn't for the fact that most of my flying is on domestic routes, and they're still out of Don Muang :brickwall

Sorry, it's not Don muang any more, they've renamed it Don Muaeng:cuckoo:
Because as any good raver will tell you, that extra 'E' makes all the difference:lol1:

How did you get on in Hua Hin any reccomendation's accomadation wise ?

I can totally recommend the Sofitel, or it may be Central resort, but it would be at least double that price per room, probably more over New Years.

Are they really building a bridge fromg BKK to Hua Hin/Cha Am? Sounds as ridiculous as a Channel tunnel!

I meant to post up for you Finchy, but couldn't find this thread.

How did we get on in Hua Hin? Absolutely sh!te, the job turned to worms on the first day, and went downhill from there:rolleyes:

The hotel on the other hand was great, we stayed here:

Hua Hin Hotels & Resorts By HOTEL THAILAND - Royal Asia Lodge Hua Hin Hotel, Hua Hin, Thailand, Online Booking & Reservation Services

Managed to haggle a bit of discount because we booked through work and they weren't that busy, though I doubt you'll manage the same at New Year:wonder:

The pool was a bit small but adequate, and the restaurant was pretty good, but it's within walking distance of any number of great eating establishments anyway. One thing it's impossible to do over here is go hungry:thumb:

One tip, even if your travelling single, make sure you get a doulble room not a twin. Because Thais are such short feckers, their beds are too, the only way I can get a decent night's sleep in hotels over here is diagonally across a double bed:D

I've heard the "suckyfcuky Inn" is quite good. :D

We all know that's what you're really going for. Dirty Boy.

I stayed in the Melia Hua Hun (now the Hilton) about 5 years back. That was a really nice hotel if you can get in there, saying that it was 5 years ago so things might have changed.

My boss has just finished his house, after 5 years:eek: Thai builders aren't exactly the world's quickest:lol1:
