Ahh - so we have some parameters.

How about Pikey & Chav Scum. That way your neighbours wouldn't look at you when you're calling their names :)

I always said I'd go for Ghengis as a kitten's name - which we did 5 weeks ago.

Little $hit is living up to his reputation (Ghengis Khan)

Cagney & Lacey?

Cutesy story alert.

We let our daughter choose our cats name (even though the cat is unofficially mine)

Originally the cat was called Fifi (our daughter was 3 so bare with me) and Fifi was fine until we went to the Vets for our first visit. Our daughter was away with her grandparents for a few days.

The vet checked the cat over and asked us again to confirm the name. "Fifi" I said. "Fifi eh?" says the vet. "Odd name for a boy" :D :D

Should have known really because he's very ginger and most gingers are toms. The girl I got him from kept saying she when refering to him so I just assumed he was a she. His mother was ginger which through me.

When our daughter came home it was quite hard to explain why the cats name has changed to Tigger. Subesquently he developed a fine pair which would have given the game away eventually.

The next time our daughter went away, when she came back, she gave the cat a hug and asked if his name had changed again. :D

Sounds daft, but my childhood cat, which has just passed on was called Cassy, short for Cassyputt, because that was all I called her when she first arrived!!.
Current bedwarmers are Squeaky (AKA Fatso), and Ferdie.

JohnD 15 August 2007 06:52 PM

When we got our kitten many years ago we immediately named him BEAVIS. If you've got two,I guess you would HAVE to call the other one BUTTHEAD, although calling him in at night might be embarrasing?
COOKING FAT is also a good name? (think about it!)
