expansion bottle split help anyone
 

hi my nephews 94 wrx forge stainless expansion bottle decided to split along the weld today he is looking for a replacement if anyone has one kicking about in the glasgow area cheers

If it's made by Forge it shouldn't have split. Their products are usually of good quality. If it has split along the weld, that would suggest bad workmanship.
Has your nephew contacted Forge and told them about it? They'll probably replace it. I'm sure they wouldn't want it known on a public forum that their products are of inferior quality.

hi he has no receipt of purchase as he bought the car a month ago with the forge part on it we have went to a local fabricators and they are going to try welding it up we should be getting it back in a day so fingers crossed as no one seems to have a bottle cheers for the info anyways
