Agree, they got it completely wrong. If Chavs were a race from Chavland then I could see their point for something like this being "deeply offensive" and racist. But in reality, Chavs are not a race they're just non educated delinquents and a waste of space and tax money.

I heard a rumor that the video cut out the scene showing the Chav breeding centre where young Chavs are reared for hunting, by Kappa-wearing parents. Apparently they spend less than 2 hours a week with their parents (who are breeding the next batch) and fed on a diet of McDonalds and cheap vodka. They're bottle fed for the first 10 years until they can nick their own bottles :)

The only thing that could possibly be offended by that is a Fox for the suggestion that it is somehow similar to being a chav. You'd never want to risk poisoning a perfectly good foxhound by hunting a chav though.

The news item is somewhat subversive in that is has SNP MP commenting on relative privilege with someone in the background fly fishing for salmon!

Can't see the problem myself. Its just small minded public servants trying to make them selves feel either trendy, or powerful.

I thought the video was excellent but am re-thinking voting SNP in the future after their rediculous PC remarks.

I very much doubt that he was fly fishing, not in the trees and with a cast like that, and how do you know he was fishing for salmon anyway?

Even if he was, what was the point of your remark?

Can we clarify, this SNP blookie :wonder:

Was he:

a. Fishing for Salmon (The fish type)
b. Fishing for 'Salmon' (the leader of the SNP).

Significant difference.... :lol1:
