xbox 360 update

i think iv missed an update for the 360 my mates have got adverts on there dashboards including pictures about the steering wheel and the wireless headsets etc and i dnt seem to have it any ideas

Is yours not connected to the web and theirs are?
When you connect your 360 to the web, just about the first thing it does is look for updates, and then asks if you want to download them.

Did my dashboard update yesterday... no adverts for me..
