Does carbon fibre go with silver paint???
 

Just want some opinions. Thinking of getting some roof fins from scooby world.

:

1) Will the carbon fibre look ok with silver?
2) Why are they labelled show/off the road use, will they come flying off when i put my foot down?

YES!!!

1)carbon on silver looks the nuts.:thumb:
2)its just a disclaimer to cover their arses if you dont stick it on properly.

I looked at getting one of these for my silver wrx some time ago. Saw a few on ebay which worked out cheaper than the scoobyworld one.

What the fins, or the fact they are from ebay???

The fins mate. What you see in the pics is the part fitted to the roof. Which looks ok.... once you stand back and admire the car as a whole, its not all its cracked up to be.

I fitted mine and as soon as the M3 tape took hold i had changed my mind....by then its to late.

so the general conscensus seems to be
1) They look crap
2) They fall off
3) if you want to take it off you either cant or are left with bonder on the roof.
Think i might pass on the fins. :wonder: :wonder:
