Events Calendar / Clubs Upgrade

Ladies and Gents

As you can tell, we're working pretty much continuously now to keep improving your experience on ScoobyNet, and our main focus is on delivering the things that you're asking for.

I am pleased to announce two new features which have been in the pipeline for the last few months.

Events Calendar
Now.. this is a standard vbulletin function, but has been something that we've avoided using until we were sure we were in a position to use properly.

We are looking for a Events Calendar moderators, who will be responsible for keeping the calendar up to date with all and any events the ScoobyNet community would be interested in. We are going to adjust how this works as we go in order to make it as seemless as possible, but if you're someone who tends to keep up to date with events and activities, please apply in this thread, or drop me a PM.

Currrently we're going to release this for UK and Ireland, and then for major events across Europe. Later this will be expanded to worldwide coverage.

Clubs Upgrade
The reason the above is more appropriate now, is that we are about to launch a massive upgrade to the clubs features on ScoobyNet.

In return for the support the numerous club members have given ScoobyNet by buying their club supporter badges, we have invested that money in a new feature which has been in R&D for about 3 months.

Clubs will have their own Home Page, Gallery, News Feeds, and of course, their own events calendar, which will also filter into the main calendar.

This is just the start.. and the more members a club has, the more features come online, eventually into the high bandwidth features, etc.

-

If you already run a club forum on ScoobyNet, get ready for us to start upgrading with you...

If you would like to base your club at ScoobyNet and enjoy these features, the added exposure for your club, and much more, please get in contact.

-

We're delighted to release these new features which will be coming online over the next 24 hours.

Best regards
Simon and the ScoobyNet team.

Hi Chaps

Sorry drb, I must have missed you PM.

We've had some problems with some of the club features, and I want to get those resolved before releasing to the masses :)

Won't be long though.
