NEED TO GET MY CAR MAPPED

As above but does anyone know where to go as im in staffordshire so the closer the better
cheers:)

Most people who get their cars mapped don't really care about distance and IMHO as long as it's reasonable, just in case the map needs a tweak, you should go to who you think is the best mapper..;)

FWIW from my own experience I recommend Bob Rawle, based in Swindon, others will no doubt recommend their favorites..;)

According to your 'View My Scoob' Details I thought you were 'and soon to be mapped by zak at mocom'.

Wheres Mocom?

Alan MaC 06 August 2007 10:15 AM

Same excellent names keep popping up Bob Rawle, Andy Forest, Powerstation.

Powerstation are just off the M5 @ Tewkesbury, advertise on here all the time.

First class!

Good Luck.

Mocom are based near Harlow, in Essex.

Zak constantly gets good feedback on here, particularly in the Essex section.

They are running a very reasonably priced group buy for mapping at the moment :thumb:

APIDavid 09 August 2007 05:16 PM

Pat Herborn does Motec 'cos he does them for us So the answer must be that the 'clinic do too, as that is where Pat is based. QED

Yes, he does, but Pat is our 'in house' mapper every Wednesday and Bob helps with odd projects and so-on. Because he is largely weekend based for work and is booked weeks in advance, it is difficult for us to accommodate his schedule, 'cos we've had enough by Saturday lunchtime.

Also Bob doesn't currently do things like A'Pexi or 'scoobyecu' type budget range stuff. He is capable, obviously but given his lead times, does he need to ??

And of course we are all in church on Sundays:p

Bob Rawle 12 August 2007 06:39 PM

Not "quite" true, I do anything that I can map and thats most things including DTA, Autronic, Apexi, Link, Motec, OEM Ecutek based ecu's, ESL MY92-96 upgrades, I "won't" do plug in chip upgrades cos that I consider cheating. From a vehicle range persoective, Subaru Impreza, Legacy, B4 (love those), Forrester. Mitsubishi Evo all "sizes" plus VR4 etc. Toyota Celica, Porsche ... all models. Also get involved in extreme one off's as well.

As David says the problem is time. And at Sat lunchime I'm just getting going !!

I'm "never" in church at any time ... lol!!

cheers

bob

Thought I hadn't seen you there for a while !!

Better start on the 'Hail Marys' right now, or you'll never get in.:nono:
