Many Apologies
Can I apologise for not turning up today. The reason being, my wife has Crohns Colitis, the other week she had to undergo an operation to remove an abscess. She currently 2 holes which are getting filled daily by the district nurse, also she has a drain held in with stitches.
The nurse had arranged to visit early this morning as we requested, & said that we were doing this run etc. But unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, she was called to an emergency. Which meant that she didn`t arrive till after lunchtime. Therefore it been to late. I cannot leave my wife until the nurse has been, to dress her wound. I`m so sorry to have let you all down. I shall still donate to the charity all the same. :thumb: Regards Ant |

You will be pleased to know that there were 33 cars eventually and we raised £318 for the charities, not a bad figure all round. The weather was kind to us. We also had a minute's silence for Colin McRae. Hopefully you can get to a future event. |
