Anyone know what the PCD is for the '98 sti 5 type R ? Would wheels from a '99 Golf fit ? (100pcd). Or would the offset be wrong ? Any advice gratefully received.

PCD for all the current Impreza range is 5x100. Some other cars have 5x100 pcd as well, but none happen to match the other essential criteria for Subaru application. ie. centre bore (56.1mm ) and offset ( at least ET48 or higher dependent on precise model and wheel size used )and caliper clearance.
A Golf Mk4 wheel will probably go on the car, but it won't fit correctly and really should not recommended.
Hope this helps.
