Should go from 140 to 180 BHP.

for all you know its the 170bhp version from stock. Anyhow I know a guy with the 140 version which is now pumping out over 300hp :D

lol audilover! your right, it is the 170 version, sorry should have made that clear!

would 220bhp be realistic for with just a remap?? and what about torque

Beware of the DPF. The mappers are struggling to get around this at the moment.

Mappings hit a stop for now because of the DPF issues as Steve just said, Superchips have withdrawn their 220bhp and replaced it with one which is around the 200 mark... Still not bad, but Id hold on for a few months, and see if the other tuners come up with something...

They do go rather well even standard though :D

Something else which may (or not!) be of interest. Seat are soon going to be running a diesel in the BTCC, it will be 280bhp based around the same VAG 170 Block/Head.

Ah... Mines in a Leon FR, only done 1k in it but so far very impressed...

Any more info Audilover? - does it involve re-positioning the DPF in the wheelie-bin? :D
