As I understand it (correct me if I'm wrong) but the new Euro & Japanese STi's are being shipped with HID lights surrounded by a tinted glass cover.
Question:
Where can I get some, and will they fit straight on to a MY01?

Thanks

John
The UK STI7 version is not HID, they are projector lenses like the MY01 Morette dip units.

I think they are a direct plug-in replacement for the standard WRX. This is at least what the parts guy at the dealer told me. They had 2 orders in for WRX owners wanting STi lights.

Cheers, it's the HID units from Japan I'm after.
I also understand that you have to have wiper units fitted if you have the HID's, is that correct?
Thanks

the only thing I can add is that in germany you have to have a washer system fitted as dirt etc will defract the beam in all directions try looking at my thread called hid's

The Motor Vehicle (Construction and Use) Regulations demand two things for the fitment of HID lighting on a new car 1. Power wash, and 2. Powered beam adjustment. hope this helps
