i have a set of 205/50/R16 Firestone 690s coming off tomorrow. They have 2-3 mm left on them.

If you want them send me a mail. Any renumeration is welcome.

If it is dry, 3-4mm is spot on. Any more and the tread blocks squirm and the tyre overheats more.

If it is wet - as much tread as you can get!

Want to get some part worns for airfield track day use.

What sort of tread should I be looking at for one day of average use. 3mm-4mm ?

I know it depends on the surface, driver etc but as a rough guide. Had the last set down to the canvas :D but couldn't remember how much was on them to begin with.

Anyone know of any good sources of part worns and what sort of cost I should expect. £20 a corner sound about right?
