Fitting "A" pillar gauge pod
I've just bought a 3 gauge pillar pod from Nomad. The problem is there isn't any room behind the pod for the wires to go.
Is it practical to cut a slot out of the original "A" pillar cover? If I do cut a slot, is there any wires behind that I have to avoid? Thanks for any advice. Chris |
the pod should have enough room for wires/boost pipes etc etc, but if carefull then you can cut a slot in piller i'd remove it first though to be on safe side

I've been looking at this problem this afternoon. I think I'm going to either cut a slot in the original cover, or remove the whole area to just above the gauges. There is definately no gap when its fitted.

I wasn't happy either with the lack of space for wires etc when I first fitted my triple A pillar pod so I cut a small area out behind the pods on the original A pillar plastic and it worked a treat.

Thanks for the info, now I know someone else has done it because of the same problem,I'll cut a slot.
