comes back from the dead, usual HP ****e

apparenty Hargred buggered Ron to death and died of a heart attack during the vinegar strokes, Potty found them and could only bring one back from the dead, He chose Ron as he was afraid that if he bought Hagred back he might pot Potter's brown for him.

Kids books, who would have though it!

RobJenks 21 July 2007 01:55 PM

I hope Harry potter is killed off and all his side kicks - KPR has written this tripe and made a fortune in doing so and don't get me started on the movies !

The Snug Rhino 21 July 2007 02:38 PM

strange definition of tripe? she wrote the books to be a popular children's story and they have become the most popular children's story in history.....if that's tripe I'd like to see a success!

MacDonalds are crap too - but they also are very successful.
and then there are wonderful examples like Concord that would I suppose would be considered unsuccessful in an economic sense.

Good analogy.....macdonalds makes kids want to eat junk....HP makes kids want to read books - i see your well thought out point :cuckoo:

Yes - seven of them in total - all written in the same boring, easy to read style. I doubt the majority will progress to read anything more challenging. If fact I saw one particularly vacuous californian girl exclaim that she was going to 'start over' when she finished book seven.
